As promised, here are the rest of the photos from Barcelona.
First, we went to the national art museum of Catalunya. The palace was absolutely beautiful.
The palace from afar
Getting closer...
So big!
A bust in the side of the palace
The view of the city center from the palace steps.
The palace!!!
A closer view of the city center from the palace.
There were both stairs and escalators going up to the palace because it was so far up.
Constance and Claire in front of the palace.
Beautiful fountain in the front of the palace.
The vibrant flowers complimented the building wonderfully.
The fountain and the palace
Claire and Constance in some sort of sculpture on the palace grounds.
The beautiful view of Barcelona from atop the palace.
The big building in the center is Sagrada Familia (the church in the last post).
Constance and Claire atop Barcelona!
The view from the top of the palace stairs
Once we finally climbed all of the stairs... the art!!
Claire had a bottle of water and they told her she had to put it in her pocket. We found an art piece that looked like her water bottle did, bulging from her pocket!
We had some great weather..
Jk it's a painting ;)
The paintings were all so ridiculous (it was supposed to be modern art) so we started to try to imitate the feelings of the artwork. Here is Claire with a piece that looks like it must have taken a lot of time...
A bed? (another very busy piece...)
Finally some more detailed work haha
This was the main 'lobby' and you could choose what kind of artwork you wanted to see and go down the respective hallway.
Constance and Claire in one of the 'hallways' to Roman (I think) artwork.
Camel! :)
The 'arena'... here there was a small cafe (left).
Museu National d'Art De Catalunya!!
In the same area, we saw a building designed by one of Claire's favorite architects. It was very open and the few walls that it had were glass.
Sculpture inside the house.. this is kind of like a patio because there was no roof, but there was no door separating it from the 'inside' of the house.
The glass wall that separates the sculpture/fountain (yes that's water) from the living room. You can't see in this picture, but to the left and right, the glass wall opens up.
Constance by the gardens!
The pool/fountain in the front of the house.
A picture from a far end of the house. At the end, you can see the sculpture down the hallway.
Constance pretending to sit in the living room.. these chairs are from 1927 (?) so you're not actually aloud to sit in them.
Another pic of the 'patio' thing.
And a few more sites...
Something that reminded me of the Seattle Space Needle.
Claire atop Barcelona again!
In a garden by the pool...
Constance with some flowers :)
The black roof is the competition pool that you can see from the gardens.
Pretty flowers!!!
Constance taking some shade.
Claire putting up a ponytail in the shade... it was SO HOT this day.
Dinner at the airport... an Iberian Ham sandwich. It looked disgusting, but it was actually REALLY good. This could have also been because I was so hungry...
Barcelona --> Paris... pics from the plane:

Landing in France!!
Well that's it for now. Maybe I'll post some pictures of Paris tonight after dinner. Today we went to the Louvre so I have a LOT of pictures.
